Why Public Health Matters to 195in365

Public health is deeply connected to climate resilience and sustainable development. Without access to basic health services, communities are more vulnerable to environmental shocks, pollution, and disease. Strengthening health systems globally helps communities not only survive—but thrive as they face climate challenges.

What We Do

Training Community Health Champions:
We partner with local groups to train Community Health Workers (CHWs) in areas like disease prevention, maternal care, and health promotion skills proven essential during epidemics like COVID‑19
Supporting Outreach & Clinics:
In rural regions, such as those similar to Uganda’s underserved districts, we support mobile clinics, health education campaigns, and emergency transport solutions—bridging critical gaps in access
Advocacy for Policy & Systems Strengthening
We work alongside communities and institutions to advocate for stronger health governance—mirroring approaches used in Uganda’s National Community Health Strategy to improve care quality and accountability
