I want to change the world because I know what it feels like to be forgotten by it. I have seen enough suffering to know that peace cannot wait another generation. I want a world where no child has to beg for safety and no human being is denied dignity. I want unity and peace more than I want my name remembered. Before I leave this earth, I want to know that I did everything in my power to help build a world where the next generation inherits hope instead of our hatred. That is the Canada I want to represent. That is the humanity I am willing to dedicate my life to.

I want to change the world because I believe that the youth have been blessed with the opportunity to set a new precedent for future generations. We are bold enough to challenge the norms set before us, take up space.
I believe that we still have an opportunity to save our planet and in turn, protect our future if we use accountability as the anchor for change and intentionally design our future, today.

I want to change the world because we, humans are inherently the children of Earth. However, in this political climate, we are so divided through desire that we get astray from our sacred duty: to protect and cherish the miracles that we are living on. Henceforth, I believe 195in365 will bring humanity together, igniting our candles of hope and action.

I want to change the world because change is inevitable, so let’s make sure the world changes for the better.
I applied to 195in365 because it is a once in a lifetime opportunity to make connections around the world and get first hand experience of a lot of the societies and places experiencing the biggest effects of the problems, and the solutions and people fighting to better it.

I want to change the world because growing up and working in the heart of the Global South, I have witnessed firsthand how resource scarcity, climate vulnerabilities and socio-economic hurdles shape the daily lives of marginalized communities. But where others see limitation, I see an untapped wellhead of resilience, innovation and transformative potential. My career is driven by a profound commitment to bridge the gap between grassroots realities and global solutions advocating for sustainable development, environmental justice and climate resilience from a perspective that is too often sidelined. I do not merely want to participate in the global discourse; I want to redefine it by proving that scalable, life changing solutions can emerge directly from the frontlines of hardship. Changing the world from a third world vantage point isn’t just an aspiration for me but it is a moral obligation to ensure that the communities bearing the heaviest burdens of global challenges are the ones leading, shaping and benefiting from the solutions.
